Friends of Sutton School (FOSS)

FOSS is the parent/teacher association of the school. It was formed in 1950 under Mr Holt, the Headmaster at the time. In 1990 the name was changed to Friends of Sutton-on-Sea School to acknowledge those in the wider community who actively support our work. Today our aims remain the same with the ultimate goal that our children benefit from our involvement.
All parents and guardians of children at the school and staff are considered members of our Association. The membership also includes past parents and others in the community.
The Association exists to promote cooperation between parents, staff, Governors and friends to advance the education of the pupils in the school.
Regular newsletters are sent to inform you of forthcoming events.
An Annual General Meeting is held each September/October and all parents, staff and friends are welcome. Additionally, members are welcome to any committee meetings or to contact any member of the committee with suggestions etc. via the school office.
We look forward to receiving your support for the benefit of all our children.
