Year 6 Leavers Prom July 2022

Prom 2022

At the end of July, we said a fond farewell to three members of staff who have worked in school for a total of 55 years!

  • Mr Pearson has been Headteacher for 16 years
  • Mrs Cram has been School Bursar for 11 years
  • Mrs Turner has been HLTA and Midday supervisor for 28 years

We wish them all the very best for a long, happy and stress free retirement!

Karen Dave and Anita

As from September 2022 all schools are expected to resume the statutory hours children need to be in schools  per week which is 32.5 hours.

This was relaxed while the Covid 19 pandemic was most virulent and the assumption is that this time has now passed and there is a general relaxing of preventative measures to stop its spread.

  1. Starting in Term 6 the children will need to be in school for 6.5hours per day which means that they will need to be in class from 8.45am and 3.15pm.

         2. Staff will need to be in class by 8.35am ready to receive children.

This will give parents and carers a 10 minute ‚Äėwindow‚Äô to drop off their children without overwhelming the main entrance.

We will be keeping a couple of items of each (jumpers, fleece, cardigans, polo shirts) but this will be for trying on for size only.

We will not be selling any items from the school office.

During the current situation, some of you may have changed circumstances with your job, and so your child may now be eligible for Free School Meal status.

To find out if you meet the criteria, you should complete an online application form which is available on this link:

You can apply for any child who is currently in school.

Even if you don’t qualify at present, once you have registered on the system, your details will be checked periodically, through your National Insurance Number, to see if your circumstances have changed.
